1. Personal Data Collection and Use

1.1. Personal Data is data or a set of data about an individual who is identified or can be specifically identified. Space Initiatives Center NGO (hereinafter ‘Center’) collects personal information only if it is provided directly by the User (for example, in case of registration on the Website or application for membership or when requesting information) and upon granting a consent. In case User’s personal data have been changed (for example, postal code, postal address, email address, telephone or mobile number), he or she should update such data in a personal account or notify about such changes via communication channels provided by the Center.
1.2. Personal data are processed and stored in the Center’s database (Owner: Space Initiatives Center NGO, 9 Boryspilska St., Kyiv 02099 Ukraine). The Center’s database is in electronic and paper forms.
1.3. Any placement, use or transfer of personal data is performed upon a User’s consent and to the extent required in each particular case, i.e. as a response to an enquiry or proposal, upon requests or when informing about the results.
1.4. Any other transfer of personal data, for example, transfer of registration data from the Website of a third party community in social networks (Facebook or Twitter), requires the User’s prior consent. Nevertheless, the Center is obliged to provide personal data upon a request of government agencies.
1.5. Personal data can be used to provide necessary (ordered) services, plan and organize work, research, inform, as well as prevent frauds and infringement against the Center, its employees, other Users, partners or counterparts.
1.6. Personal data is stored for one year after the User terminates his or her membership in the organization.

2. Revocation of consent

2.1. A User may revoke his or her consent to use his or her personal data as a whole or in part at any time via one of communication channels (e-mail, Website, telephone, mail).

3. Automatically recorded data (Non-personal Data)

3.1. For the sake of its security system, when a User visits the Website, its server automatically collects data that is not related to an individual, i. e. domain name or IP-address of the computer that sends requests, as well as date of access, browser and operation system, request file (file name and URL), HTTP response code, the website from which the User accesses the Website and number of bytes sent during the session.
3.2. This information is collected and analyzed in an anonymous form. It is used only to improve performance, contents and usability of the Website. This information is not further processed and is not given to third parties.

4. Google Analytics

4.1. This Website may use Google Analytics, i.e. web analytics service of Google Inc. (Google). Google Analytics uses cookies. i.e. a text file that is stored on the User’s computer, and helps the website to analyze User’s behavior on the Website. Data on the use of the Website is generated as cookies (including User’s anonymous IP-address), transmitted and stored on Google’s servers located in the United States. Google will use this information to analyze activities on the Website, as well as to make reports on the Website for operators providing other services related to the work of the Website and the use of the Internet. Google may also transfer this information to third parties, if required by law, or if third parties process information on behalf of Google. Google will not relate a User’s IP-address with other Google data. The User can opt out of using cookies by choosing appropriate settings in a browser. By using this Website, the User agrees that Google can process his or her data in the order and for the purposes above stated.

5. Cookies

5.1. Cookies are used to ease the use of the Website. A cookie is a small text file saved on the User’s computer hard drive. They are created by the browser when using the Website. Cookies helps better understand how the Website is used, and improve its performance. Cookies do not store any personal information. If the User does not want to receive cookies, he or she should modify Internet browser settings to remove cookies from the computer’s hard drive, decline them or get a message before the cookie is placed on the computer.

6. Children

6.1. Individuals under 18 have no right to register on the Website. The Center will never deliberately collect data on underage persons; neither will it use and/or disclose such data to a third party. If the Center becomes aware, that data on underage individuals have registered without the consent of their parents or guardians, such data will be immediately removed.

7. Ensuring the protection of personal data

7.1. In order to prevent an unauthorized access, the Center undertakes physical, electronic and organizational measures to protect personal data from accidental or unlawful destruction or loss, modification or unauthorized disclosure or access.
7.2. The safety measures applied by the Center meet up-to-day requirements and are subject to regular monitoring in order to ensure a high level of personal data protection.
7.3. Some of personal data bases may be made available to third parties with whom the Center cooperates; such third parties have access to personal data only in case of business needs.
7.4. The Center will not disclose personal data to governmental bodies unless required by the law.

8. Updates and Changes

8.1. This Privacy Policy may be reviewed and changed. The rights of the User contained in this Privacy will not be limited without the express consent. Any changes to the Privacy Policy will be posted on this page, and therefore, Users are advised to regularly access this Privacy Policy page.
